Luke’s mom wanted to do something a little more unique and creative for her son’s upcoming birthday.  When I suggested a geometric party, she was all for it and we had a lot of fun planning up the event. She wanted to incorporate an art activity for the little guests and came up with a simple but fun project that kept the little ones busy and focused.  One of my favorite elements from this party was the pipe cleaner crowns and cake topper.  What an affordable and fun way to dress up the party without sacrificing aesthetics!

Happy birthday, Luke!

In about 5 weeks my daughter will be turning 4.  So this post of her third birthday is long overdue but I’ve been dying to share it with you!

Anyone who knows my daughter well can tell you she LOVES flowers.  She always stops to admire all the flowers on our walks (and when I say all the flowers, I really mean all the flowers lol) and never fails to point them out during car rides- even ones on the side of the freeway.  So it was a no-brainer when it came to figuring out what elements to decorate her cake table with.

Just as we did with her previous birthday, we pulled together all of her favorite things- flowers, strawberries, donuts, sprinkles, balloons, and the color pink to celebrate her turning 3!  We called up her best friends for a playdate and the girls had so much fun, my heart was full that day.

My son is 6 now, but let’s go back in time and see some photos from his 5th birthday party! >.<

This was the last birthday he was able to celebrate with his friends before we moved out to California so I wanted to give him whatever party he wanted.  He really wanted to have a birthday party at the park with a bounce house so that’s the party he got!
